AmeriCorps Week: UPDATE!

What does it mean to say AmeriCorps is a national service program? For one thing, it means AmeriCorps members make a pledge to serve our country, a pledge that is reminiscent of the oath of service taken by the United States Military and the President!

VISTAs are also on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to perform service for their country and their communities.

All this week, and throughout their year of service, AmeriCorps members are working hard to support communities all over the country.
